I was reading about the candidates in the District 89 election. There is a terrible mistake about the amount of money that Joey McCulley has had in his account. Anyone would know that the signs alone would cost more than the $800 reported that he has as contributions. If you look at the report of all 4 candidates @ TN.gov, you will see that Joey was the only one to file a first report. The "reporter" in the article failed to mention the money he loaned his campaign, that was reported in the first report. When I spoke with her, she said everyone knew it was the second report. It does not say that anywhere but in the section on District 13. I think it was an attempt to make McCulley look like he is not a formidable candidate. All total, with loaning his campaign money and contributions, he has had over $9,000 in his account. I believe this is a case of Figures don't lie, but liars figure.
