As a former SID, who did the same job as her, I can assure you her job responsibilities did not overlap anyone elses, certainly not any AD. SID departments are notorious for being understaffed, overworked and undervalued at any level. And no, I can't prove it was based on gender but it sounds like there will be an investigation. It also sounds like there was a lot of things behind the scenes that were only alluded to in this article. She had voiced concerns and was then fired for it, or so it seems. It also sounds like there were others concerned too. I guess the one thing we can agree on is that it was poorly handled by Hart and co.
