Amy Broyles pet project here in in North Knoxville was MinVilla. Cost million of dollars and still sits empty along with her empty promises of taking homeless off the street. Then after millions in federal and local money they were getting KCDC vouchers to pay the rent, double dipping. Then she promised MinVilla would be the last "social services" targeted for North Knoxville. A few months later she is championing the Safety Center. One social service after another forced into neighborhoods against their will. The bleeding hearts even tried to do a poll but it backfired. The poll results showed 83% of the residents in North Knoxville did NOT want any more social services and wanted the ones in place reduced. Still, she pushes her agenda.
We all know Helen Ross McNabb can't contain the prisoners they treat at their facility off McKamey Road. Several has escaped their custody and one was a carjacker. Now, Broyles is pushing for the Safety Center on Springdale jeopardizing the safety and security of the neighborhood. The recent purchase of adjoing land and demo to put a bus stop in was just the first step of quietly transforming the Helen Ross McNabb Center on Springdale Ave into a Safety Center.
Amy Broyles blatantly disregards her constituents to push her liberal social agenda on a resistant community.
