In regard to the suggestion that the closing of the Henley Bridge be used to make improvements to convert Henley Street into a boulevard style roadway, several residents from South Knoxville suggested at one meeting that it is also a ripe opportunity to begin work on the projects in the Chapman Highway Corridor Plan and its suggested conversion into a boulevard type roadway as well.
