I was one of those people there that night. I got lucky, I was one of the first in line with some of my classmates so we got right up front! My class from ITT Tech went to see Dr. Bass as a "field trip". Sure beat sitting in class all night! It was also my teacher that asked about her grandma's ashes. Dr. Bass is an icon and something UT should be proud of. The fictional books are also great and can't wait to read the latest one!
