I was fortunate enough to attend Highlander and meet Miles Horton in the ending days of his travels here on earth. I count it as a Blessing and Priviledge to have my ties with Highlander. I am what I am today because of my time at Highlander. I learned so much and do not have to walk this earth through the eyes of ignorance and disbelief. Thanks to all whom I met at the Highlander Center. I am a proud fellow of the Southern Appalachian Leadership Training Program.
