Wow! Talk about flashbacks. It was pure coincidence that I picked up this issue of Metro Pulse and read the story on John Bean. I, as did several of my friends at Seymour High School, had "pirated" copies of Bean's original cassettes. One could not help but laugh his A&@ off while listening to them (over and over). Just one question for your readers: Does anyone have any recordings of the 1970's DJ from Johnson City radio station WQUT, who cranked out rock and roll under the name Midnight Rambler? He was another infamous East Tennessee character.
