I don't know why it took so long to try out this place? I frequent Knoxville Cigar across the street quite often along with Pasta Trio. Maybe it was the name? Gastropub? I thought it was going to be granola food with organic-this, free-range chicken crapola these quasi-nuvo restauranteurs try to appeal to?

Atmosphere: Goods: Neat looking inside. Man bar! Lots of hardwood, TV's, very lively. Bads: Place has to be the loudest in Knoxville! Please C and G buy some of those noise absorbing thingies! The place was probably 80% full when my future wife and I came and we had to talk very loud the entire meal.

Menu: Good. A bit limited. A bit pricey but that will eliminate some from visiting and that is ok. No kids menu!!! I have kids but I was thankful for this. WE have enough o'charleys, applebee's and various other chains to take care of that.

Food: I had the duck and i eat duck alot at nice restaurants. IT WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD! Everything was fresh, hot, and outstanding! My date had prime rib...again...as good as I have ever had! Presentation and flavor was suberb.

Service: Our waiter was very busy and did a great job. Not to slow, not to fast.

Overall...this is a solid restaurant and thank God not another chain! I will frequent this place just for that fact alone. I love to see entrepeneurs make it. The only knock is the noise in the place. It is almost unbearable at times. I would hate to see it at full capacity. Other than that---highly recommended.
