BOK 2009 Rules

Best of Knoxville: 2009

The Best of Knoxville

VOTE FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES IN THE MAIN CATEGORIES.

The Metro Pulse Best of Knoxville Readers’ Poll aims to showcase the institutions that make Knoxville unique. That means ONLY locally owned or created businesses. But if you really do feel that a national chain is the best in town, then vote for it in our new Best National Chains section.

FILL OUT AT LEAST 30 OF THE CATEGORIES.

Otherwise, your ballot will not be counted. In the Best of the Best categories, three of the five must be filled out.

ONLY ONE BALLOT PER PERSON WILL BE ALLOWED.

Photocopying the blank (completely blank) ballot and then filling it out is acceptable. All ballots must include your name, address, and phone number; online ballots also require a viable e-mail address. All ballots—paper and electronic—must be submitted by midnight, April 2.

SUBMIT YOUR BALLOT EITHER ONLINE OR IN THE MAIL.

The method we love best is through our online form at Metropulse.com. You can still mail it through the U.S. Postal Service as well, as long as there is only one ballot per envelope. No faxes or hand-delivered ballots will be accepted.

DON’T STUFF THE BALLOT BOX.

It’s easy to spot ballot-stuffing, and we’ll just toss those ballots into the recycling bin. Anything that smacks of mechanical reproduction (laser-printed envelopes, for instance) automatically goes into the Extra Scrutiny Pile.

NOW GO VOTE!
