Medford’s Black Record Collection, headed by singer-songwriters Michael Davis and Matt Foster, earned local praise for the dusty mix of bluegrass, traditional folk, and radio-friendly Americana on their 2006 debut The Flattville Murder Album and the 2008 follow-up, Eccentricity NOS.
