After enjoying them for the past six years, many Knoxvillians might wonder how we lived so long without the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra. Consisting of many of the area's most talented players, including representatives of UT's jazz program, the KJO performs the enduring compositions of Thad Jones, Oliver Nelson, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, and Count Basie.
